The first cheat requires you to press the following buttons on the controller at the title screen: Up, Down, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Triangle, Select and Start. This will allow you to access the secret level select. To access the next level, go to the options menu and select the ‘Level Select’ option. From there, use the left and right arrows to increase or decrease the level of difficulty. Once you’ve chosen the desired level, press the start button to begin.

The second cheat is the weapon select. To activate this cheat, press the following at the title screen: Up, Down, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Triangle, X and Start. The fifth and final cheat is the invincibility cheat. To enable this, press the following at the title screen: Up, Down, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Triangle, X and L1. Invulnerability will now be enabled.
